Priority Populations

As an organization built to empower and serve those most vulnerable, we focus on populations that have exhibited considerable historic need within the healthcare system. We have selected persons with individual circumstances that may or do cause barriers to achieve optimum health, including individuals living with chronic illnesses, racial/ethnic inequities in healthcare, persons with limited knowledge and education as a barrier to obtain healthcare, lack of access to healthcare as a result of unemployment, inability to secure health services as a result of financial hardship, persons unable to secure quality healthcare services as a result of their sexual orientation, and limited or underinsured individuals.
